so my golden puffer has a couple white spots on him they look like a zit or a tag you see people get on there neck and they seem like there growing. my ph is 8.4 nitrite is 0 , nitrates is 20 and salt is appropriate he is alone in his own 80 gal tank which is plumbed off my 200 gal tank that has about 8 small fish in it and a big tang all the water in puffers tank is being cycled in the same sump, skimmer etc as 200 gal tank everything else seems fine any help on course of action that may help him get rid of these spots would be really appreciated. I really like this fish I took a picture of it to the local fish store and he didn't know what it was and he suggested this forum I will attach pics its kind of hard to see them thou but there the white spots on top of his body any help we would be very thankfull for thanks

It is really hard to see any spot in a pic that blurry. Are you using a regular camera or your phone. You need to adjust the shutter speed to get a clear pic of a moving object.
Is it affecting the puffer in any way? With the tanks being plumbed together, is there any way a parasite was introduced into either tank?

It does not seem to be affecting him in anyway he's seems same as always happy and always wanting to eat. I do not think that a parasite was introduced to either tank. Its hard to get a good pic of it up close but hopefully these newer ones can help. Do you think its a parasite?
