Hi Im new here just saying hello!

Hello, I have a 30g, planted tank with 4 bolivian rams, 5 neon tetras, a bristle nose pleco, and one figure eight puffer. He has been getting along in the tank well for the past 3 days, swimming all around in and out of the plants but it looks like hes getting a crusty white patch on his nose the LFS said it could be a fungal infection or cotton mouth but I looked at a bunch of pictures and it dosnt look like it. they soled me some meds but Im hesitant to use them because I dont want to dump a bunch of chemicals in my tank. I posted something in the hospital page about it let me know if anyone has any ideas. thanks Im really excited about this puffer and I hope he dosnt have anything serious. I keep trying to attach a pic but it wont let me. Thanks again guys Im really glad to be on here!!!
