i cant seem to find any fahaka, mbu puffers in stock on any sites anyone have any good links to places that you can orderthese types of puffers from?

can you not find a fish store that can at least order you one if its not in stock? I highly discourage online puffer ordering.... a puffer is best bought when you can see a specific one in detail, if you special order a puffer at a LFS and it comes sick, youre not out a dime ... sure you can order a puffer online and if you follow direction the company will most likely refund the puffer price, but they will not refund you on shipping.

Puffers are very prone to illness from a stressful shipping journey... they are wild caught unlike many other hobby fish. they come from the oceans and rivers across the globe. a lot of the time they come in starved on top of stressed and their immune system weakens, just like in humans.... and then they gotta get bagged and shipped again to your house. Im only rambling like this because im still bitter from my personal experience.

pufferghoti and I are lucky to have found some LFS who are prepared to order puffers for us and accept that we are prepared to wait for "The Fish" rather than accept any puffer that is offered to the LFS.
