I've red tons, atleast it feels so, but about frozen food im still having doubts whereas to thaw it first or serve cold?

I've bought the most delicious unpeeled freshwaterschrimps and have frozen some in portions.. Do i thaw before i serve them?

What about clamps and such, Can i freeze them and for how long?

Anything to avoid apart from the coneshaped snails?

I have columbian ramshorns at hand, Will they be ok for my fahaka

Always thaw them in tank water. Adding vitamins is recommended. When u freeze the food, just make sure to put them in a zip lock or something air tight. If not they will lose moisture..

Tried the columbian ramshorns today and it gave her some challenge for sure but guess thats fine.
Bought like 50 of them and was given round 50 ordinary rams also.

Spoiled her with some live 3cm crayfish, my god she begs!

She has daily faeces and its easily scooped out;-D

Being 30+ cm she's now getting bluemussel and crabclaws once in a while in order to keep her teeth down!
Took her bout a day to figure how to open the mussel and i had to help her on the claws, few whacks with a hammer to open it up a bit and get her interested

Its also good to keep her occupied with delicious but though to get food as crabclaws of the size we'd eat ourselves.
The mussels have been fresh and alive but the claws i boiled and cooled down before i gave it to her.

Leftovers are given to the marble crayfish of which she gets 2 at the same time, ca 3" in size, in order for atleast one of them to have what resembles a chance to get away, and for both Wilma and i to enjoy the hunt ;-D

Great job feeding. Fahakas are gorgeous. I have heard they pratice puffing have either of you witnessed this?

Thought we werent supposed to give them anything cooked?

That's not cooked.
I've never seen Filber puff.
