Saw a Craigslist Ad with a Fahaka Puffer for sale in Dallas TX

At least they mentioned it requires a large 100+ gallon tank.

If you put a price tag on a pet it means only people who want it and will care for it properly will likely respond. If you put it up for free anyone might try it thinking if it dies they have not lost anything. That's the way I look at it.

Not sure of the description the tank looks like a 12 inch deep rather than a 18inch deep based on the gravel and distortion of the fish eye lens so I think its a max of 9inches (tail included, a little porker)... either way someone in Dallas can find a home and they have some very good fish shops there judging by what I have read on the internet. The catchment area can support a lot of none-mainstream fish if you look at some of the local fish sites.

Dunno if it is the same person (and fish) but here is another ad in my area with a 100 gallon tank setup:

Ummm No I am not.. LOL Dexter the big guy in the 75 gallon is getting a 200gallon tank this weekend.

The little guy will probably go to a 55 for the time being or if we can rig up a grate between we may split the 200g into 150 and 50 and let them both hang out
Still working on a solid grate idea.. We will see.
But my fin friends arent going anywhere.
