A personal question I know lol but really how big is he/she and what's your setup? Please don't give me the "I know a guy who knew a guy who had one"

Filbert is about a foot long, around 12 years old & lives in a 125g with lots of friends.

Mine topped out at close to 16" before he passed. He also allowed some tankmates but feasted on others especially when small.

Unfortunately with the first post we can all tell where this post is going but...
mine is close to 11" about a year and a half old, haven't measured in a few months but was 10+ then. Lives in a planted 180 with a few female convicts, there used to be a couple males in there until they spawned, daddy con tried to keep puffer out of the half of the tank fry were in, then one day no more daddy. There may or may not still be a male bristlenose pleco and a loach in there, haven't seen them in a while but they do hide well. it was 5 months I hadn't seen the pleco then I caught him out and about one day.

My guy is about 6" now. I have had him since dec. He was about 2" then. He hasnt grown much for the time I have had him but he is extremely healthy and is in a 150 gallon planted tank. He doesnt apear to be stunted, just a slow grower..

4" since december? that is 4" in 5 months, not so sure thats slow.

Yeah I suppose your right. I see pics and videos of 8" fahakas and they are like twice the gerth of my guy. I feed him a good sized mystery snail everday. He is just a little lean to me.

Mine is about 3 years old, and has grown from perhaps 10 cm in february when he came from the petshop, to about 17-18 cm now, just a couple of months later, he is severly stunded from living in a to small tank with the prior owner.. Lives in a 120 gallon planted tank, with some platties and danios- the only fish he accepts.

ours are ITRO 4 inches now and viewtopic.php?f=34&t=32459 ..they are still very friendly

I have had mine for 1,5 yrs and I guess it's 2 years old or so. It's currently 14 inches including its tail. I hope he doesn't get bigger
