So when I first got my puffer I saw poop a month later and for a month no poop I treated for ip stringy white poop for a cpl days now 2 months later and none! Is the bacteria in the sand eating it up? Is he not fed enough? I have an overflow so is it breaking apart? Am I just a weird fish keeper? He eats daily, either a crawfish, a cpl mussels, worms etc but I'm lots sure does make clean up easy... I'm just worried he might still have ip! All food but worms are deep frozen at -20 for. 24 hrs b4 feedings idk

No I don't watch him 24/7 I also don't watch my dog 24/7 but I know when she goes outside a lil gift will be there for me, every other fish I had to clean up the substrate this one no,

If you have good flow/filtration, the poop should break down & get sucked up before you see it. I never see my 12" fahaka's poo.
Don't you wish you could do that for your dog, too?

Yea lol I'm thinking 15 leaf blowers pointed towards my neighbors house might help!

Fish poo is very soft and when it leaves the fish it is immersed in water. So as pp said it will be likely to break apart rather quick

T. mbu poo is well-bagged with a very fragile film. The first visit of the day to fish room involved grabbing the Python and turning on the tap, then slurping up the poo-balls/bags before they got dispersed. I do not remember the Fafakas having the same deal going. That made a non-trivial water quality improvement over leaving it to get dispersed. I always imagined that the Fafakas just broke theirs up and the filter had to deal with it.
