Puffer for a 22g ZE?

Hello all (Hi Jeni, Edward Smith in St. Charles)

Ok, don't yell at me! I know the answer, but..... I want to hear it from the experts before I cross off puffers from my list.

I have a 22g Zeroedge with corals, clams and featherdusters. Is there any type of puffer that this enviorment would be appropriate.

Thanks

You could try a toby, there are lots of cool colors but that would be as a singleton--no other fish in there.

Awesome! I think I'm going to try a Papuan Toby Puffer (Canthigaster papua).

I'm getting very excited about the prospects for a Papuan Toby!

But just wanted to confirm, a Papuan Toby would be ok with ornemental clams?

Thanks

Thanks. I excited about doing this, specifically landing a Papuan Toby Puffer (Canthigaster papua). Like a responsible little reefer, I've been doing my research and just wanted to confirm: The Papuan Toby should be ok with ornimental clams and featherdusters?

Thanks

Thanks for the recommendation!

I was doing my research and Papuan Toby Puffer (Canthigaster papua) are safe with ornimental clams, right?

Thanks,

Ed

Sorry I missed your posts, Ed. Considering crustaceans are a puffer's diet, I absolutely would not trust one with a clam.

Hey why dont you trade the clam with a puffer at your lfs? Puffers are far more fun to keep.

Yeah, I vote puffer over clams, any day!
