This projects has been in the works since last november. Since the first corals have now gone in I figured I should post some pics .

Here is a panorama shot of the tank :D. So bright but the lights are still only at 35% as to not burn the new corals to a crisp.

The first coral to go in was an unspecified toadstool leather coral. It seems to be a very moody coral (still under elcheapo T5s).

Though it seems to be settling in now that the Pacific Sun Metis Hyperion R2 3x150W are on the tank. Still not fully extended but it's better than nothing. Fully extended the polyps should be about an inch long.

Next up, one of my absolute favorites, Ricordea Florida. According to the LFS this is one of the more expensive colour combinations you can get. Expensive it was, but worth it imo. $60 for the this singleton :durr:

My 3rd and last coral is something I have no idea what it is other than supposedly a carpeting soft coral. I would love an ID if someone knows :D, I got it for free since it was a very very small frag only showing 4 polyps. It clearly has many more 8) that all opened up after I put it in my tank. Feeling kinda good about that .

Current fish stocking:
- Flameback Angel Centropyge acanthops
- Okinawa Goby Gobiodon okinawae
- Orange Clown Fish Amphiprion ocellaris
- Black Clown Fish Amphiprion ocellaris
- Six Line Wrasse Pseudocheilinus hexataenia
- Yellowtail Damsel Chrysiptera parasema
- 4 Stripe Damsel Dascyllus melanurus

Photo's of the fish will follow. The goby so far is by far my favorite .

Like a boss.

I don't trust most angels with corals, unless proven reef save in another's tank.

Still love that little clown goby,he's so cute, makes me want one along with a larger tank

Also, great choice on the clowns , same as my pair :thumb:

Nice looking ricordia too :D I've some like 6 ricordias, I love them as well. I wasn't sure just seeing them online but loved the first one I got in my tank and ordered more shortly after. They look so lovely when they're opened up.

Toadstools are "moody" creatures.

Yeah, both are the toadstool.

I have a leather, sinularia, and there is certainly a difference from it being grumpy and happy but not as much of a difference as with the toadstool. Even with my short time with the sinularia I have seen the moodiness of the leathers.
