I agree with P_A, looks like some kind of toby.
the closest matche in my book is C.Amboinensis. although i doubt that thats what it is.
really hard to tell with that pic though.
from what i can make out in the pic it really looks quite beautiful. do you have him, or is he at your LFS?

Most definitley a Toby...perhaps Canthigaster papau or Canthigaster solandri. My bet is solandri.

hmmm, i wondered about solandri too, i didnt know they could have such extreme color variations.
otherwise it looks just like thr soldandri in my book, other then the color.

Thanx guys.
Was leaning towards C. solandri myself, but am still unsure.
I received the picture from a young man who recently bought his first marine system.
Lately there has been a trickle of marine puffers in the very few Norwegian FS who sells marine fish.
I'll try to get hold of a better picture.
(There's a huge & beautiful dogface grinning morbidly and winking every time I see it.Gonna go marine for sure!!!)

Update:
Picture is taken in the sea outside Khai Nok Island which is; Thailand.
Loads of sharks in the area at the time, so said aquarist had difficulties concentrating on getting a better picture of Puffy.
Young people nowadays, no stamina, no dedication!
