My soon to be puffer tank....

Couple pics of my new puffer 30 gallon cube...It's cycled, ready to go, but I can't find any irrubusco's to go in it :cry:

You can see in the cabinet is a small 3 gallon eclipse snail breeding tank. I was keeping the cuttlebone in a shot glass. I took out the shot glass and replace it w/some wire to hold down the cuttlebone. When I went to wash the shot glass it had eggs on it :oops:

No more eggs as of yet...hohum...I'll post more pics if I ever find any puffers to put in this tank........

looks great! are those live plants? they look really nice.


if you cant find irrubescos , there are plentyof other puffers that would work good in there. maybe a lot of dwarves or something.
a modestus would go great in there, if you can put up with the teeth trimming.

Yes, they are live. I have a mixture of flourite and eco complete on the bottom, this is my daughters tank, so she picked out the gravel to hide the plant substrate. I'm using flourish and excel in this tank. I'm starting to get algae. So I put two SAE in the tank yesterday. I really don't like them, but figured I'm taking all inhabitants the day my puffers get here out...so....
