White Stringy Slime on MBU Puffer

My MBU Puffer has developed this white stringy slime on his back and I'm not sure what it is? Is it some sort of external bacteria or ICH? I've seen ICH before on my other fish and this nothing like it?
Hopefully some of you Puffer masters know what it is and how I can treat it?
Thanks
James

I should also mention, he is acting very normal. Actively searching for his snail snacks... Just want that slime off of him

1) Your water parameters - pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrates.
pH 7.0, ammonia 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate 5ppm
2) Feeding and water change schedule.
I feed small amounts of food once a day. So far he has eaten shrimp, muscles and snails. I change the water every Saturday for my MBU and Arowana tanks.
3) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so.
Got a new light for my aquarium. I think I only noticed the white slime after the new light because its a High Compact
4) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it?
Cycled for a long time before the MBU was introduced and the tank was running for about 6 months.

Does the water appear cloudy at all?
What kind of filtration are you using?
How much water do you change?
Your params are good, but water quality may still be an issue.
I'd be tempted to increase water change frequency and ammount for the time being.

What's the tank size? Running the tank for 6 months does not mean it is cycled.

I would add Melafix for now. What is your tank size, puffer size & water change schedule?
Depending on your puffer's size, you may be feeding too often (not that this is causing your immediate problem). If still a juvie, I'd skip at least 1x/week.
