congo puffer teeth much of an issue?

I know they are fish eaters but is a high crunchy diet the staple?

Not necessary. Mine will only eat live Earthworms.

I never bothered feeding them crunchy food. Between congos and my Turgidus, I never fed all soft food - worms, raw shrimp and scallops.
