Hi all,

Little bit about my fish keeping experience:
Currently have a 5' community tropical tank, a 30L BiOrb for livebearer fry, a 4' current hospital tank for community fish that had to be rescued, a currently empty 54L that will be used to breed my Javanese Rice Fish who are spawning in the 5' community, and a 70L that is currently home to 8 Dwarf GSPs - but don't worry, tonight they are going to be transferred to a 4' 240L... and this is where I want some advice!

About my puffer experience:
Initially bought 2 Dwarf GSPs and they were kept in my 30L BiOrb, however although they ate well they spent all their time in the fake plant cover I had provided. I eventually figured that the distortion caused by the shape of the tank was upsetting them, as they hid whenever I approached the tank.
Then a friend moved in who had rescued 6 DGSPs, and they were in a 70L so put mine across to there, and since then they are no longer shy. As mentioned previously this was always a temporary home, and this evening they will be transferred over to a much bigger 4' tank.
They are currently fed on a mix of live and frozen blood worm, as well as the occasional bit of live brine shrimp. They also have small bladder snails twice a week.

From the little information we've been able to gather so far, we plan to slowly convert their freshwater to full marine conditions.
The 4' will be decorated with lots of stones and slate to create caves and nooks and crannies to keep them entertained, and break up their line of sight due to the large number of them (8 in total). So far they are getting along well, but we realise they could become aggressive towards each other over time.

We have no idea how to sex them, and so far have only read that this is nigh impossible to do. Of the 8 there are 3 much larger ones.
One larger one and one smaller one appear to have taken over a cave type area I created with rocks in their current home for the last 48 hours. The larger one pretty much always stays in the cave, the smaller one will venture out but tells any of the others to go away if they approach the area. Is this breeding behaviour?

So ANY information at all would be gratefully received -
Decor for the new 4', feeding if we should be doing it differently, are the two mentioned above breeding, and if so how best to proceed, eg should we leave them where they are for now and just transfer the other 6 to the 4'.

Thanks in advance for any advice! Please let me know if I haven't given any vital information!

Dwarf puffers or gsp? Dgsp do not exist. If they are gsp they require 30g each, they need brackish to marine conditions.

Apologies.
They are green spotted purffers, Tetraodon nigroviridis.
