Getting a new DP

Greetings, all. I haven't been active here on TPF in a while, due to ill health. I had to rehome my beloved F8, Hula,while in hospital, and now find myself in a puffer-less world (eeeek!). Unacceptable.
I'm not physically able to maintain a tank large enough for F8s or a GSP, so I'm going to go back to my first love, DPs. One DP, to be exact. I'm setting up what will hopefully be a happy little home for one lucky little pea puff, my holiday gift to myself.
I know that many (if not most) puffers are perfectly happy as singletons -- my F8 loved being queen of her tank. It's hard not to get sucked into feeling like a single DP might be "lonely," though. But in the interest of affording proper space, I'm going to only have one.
