The Puffer Forum

Hi! I recently moved across state and got a rental. Rather than up my rent with another dog, terrify my fiance with a rat, or try to keep my houdini cat contained I have decided to get another Puffer. I have owned 2 Green Spots and a Dwarf (my cat got the Dwarf) in the past and am looking for something a little more unique. I am gathering all my supplies now while I narrow down my search for which one is right for me. I thus far have a 30 gal tank that the Puffer will be housed in until I get a larger one. I found a 55 gal on CL that I may purchase instead but since I don't have a job yet I have to rely on what my fiance allows me to spend. At least he gave me a cap of $100 for the fish itself!
I really look forward to learning more about Puffers so that my new one will be with me for many years.

I'm torn between the Ceylon and Abei. I'm calling the LFS tomorrow to see which is more available. I have to preorder since there was literally almost a fist fight over a Congo Puffer in the parking lot that I went to look at. I have one more LFS an hour south that supposedly has an excellent selection that I am going to look at.
