Hi and welcome to the forum. Turning black can be sleeping colours, or it could be stress. Tell us about your tank and water parameters

actually I put salt in their water.there are only five puffer and a plant. the tank (I don't know exact) but it is like 10 inches width and height, the puffers are half the size of your thumb. I recently changed their tank. I just got them like a week ago!!!!

That tank sounds too small for any puffer. It takes 3 dimensions to define a tank size. What kind of puffers? "Adding salt" is also does not give us any information: Waht kind? how much? how added?
Please review bertie's post and reply...

A 10" cube tank will only hold 4.3 usg gross, more realistically 3-3.5 usg net. Not big enough even for a single dp. We really need more info from you to be able to help.

Anyone is old enough to be here but I'd still like to know. It helps me better understand where you might be in the hobby.
We all would still like to know what species of puffers you're keeping. Your tank sounds way too small for even 1 dwarf puffer. I'm afraid this will end very badly.

Anyone is welcome, please calm down we are here to help. Knowing people's ages really does help us know where you are at if that makes sense. We have had many young puffer keepers here.
