Hello !!!!

Fellow puffer friends

My Name is Jack and have just brought my second tank i have a 130l tropical tank, went out today and brought a 63l juewl tank especially for some new puffer's.

Well just thought id introduce my self and say Hi.

From what i have read this seems like a very friendly forum and you all seem to know your stuff !!

Look forward to taking on board some helpful info.

Forgive me for giving you bad news!!!! Ok I think 63l equals 16 gallons??? If so a green spotted puffer needs 30 gallons for one. They just get too big and make so much waste!

If you like the gsp you might like an f8 ( one would like your 63l).

Arhhhh that is bad news the girl at my local shop told me i could have 4 gsp's in a 63l tank

Clearly she just wants to sell these fish.

back to the shop i go haha :( :(

Awww I feel bad... but truthfully those gsps cannot grow to their full size in a tank that small. Look at the tank and imagine a small kitten inside of it.

is there such a thing as dwarf gsp's as she was pretty adidment that they would be ok there where only an inch in size ?

Ok so correct me if im wrong

what your saying is, that i would need like a 250l (roughly 60 gallons) tank to keep 4 gsp's

There are dwarf puffers, but not dwarf gsps

55-60 gallons for 2 gsps, I have 2 in a 75 gallon with no other fish.
