He was my first puff and died within four days a while back but i never knew what he was.. hes either a baby mbu or fahaka hard for me to tell

That's a very unfortunate and very poorly cared for Mbu.

Yea i got him and then he just died afteer four days. I was so sad. Fish store had him and i got him for like 15$ and was labeled as a fahaka but i didnt think it was. Probably had bad ips never ate either.

15$???? I got mine for like $120usd!!! At ard 5-6in. He was just a little better condition than yours.
There was alot of work and care at the initial few weeks.. now hes a gorgeous 16incher.

Yep 15$ ..I'm sure the lfs knew he was borderline dead and wanted to get rid of him...i went back and sold me an actual fahakathat i still have for 10$ .. the manager felt bad and gave me a huge discount for being mislead. Its #4 on the POTM entry for October. I took that picture after i bought him.
