What food?

What food should I feed my puffers when I get them? I know they occasionally need shelled things like snails to cut down their teeth. What foods are good for this based on the size of the puffer? What I mean:

Puffer size: Food to cut down teeth
Dwarf (Dps): Don't need any (I think)
Small (?" - ?"): snails
Medium (?" - ?"): clams/crabs
Large (?" - ?"): small to medium crayfish
Giant (full grown Giant Puffers): large crayfish/lobster (from Red Lobster of course, not some beautiful one...)

Are these good foods? Is this correct? Thanks!

I get small crabs or crawdads at the lfs...two to three dollars a pop... i dont tell them its for my fahaka some places will refuse to sell it to you because theyre meant to be pets...my fahaka is 6 " and i get crawdads just about as large as him...they learn how to kill through trial and error from getting pinched..if you feel your puffer may lose a fight just remove the claws..snails as big as his eye are a good way to tell what size to pick...you can buy clams at the food market and raw shrimp too..its also cheaper .. just freeze for 48 hours prior to feeding...defrost in tap water or watever watrer and you may add fish vitamin water too. Remove all uneaten food.

Lobsters are too expensive. I rather eat them. Any hard food is good for the teeth. You can feed him krill from time to time they love em..they will eat live or dead fishh too but its not recommended they carry desease at times and ive read somwhere That over time fish may cause them to have a fatty liver like an alcoholic. .I'm guilty of feeding him anchovies sometimes but am also guilty of binge drinking too... i should stop both but we have problems
