Indeed it seems like the only time they feel photogenic. Otherwise they HATE the camera and hide behind the live rock near the back of the tank.

Nice looking tank and GSP's!

I'm setting up a marine tank primarily for a GSP and seeing these sorts of pictures makes me even more anxious to have it ready for the arrival of my GSP.

I think they handle full marine so much better from the get go than BW or FW. They are more active and their colors really stand out better. I noticed this when I converted my tank from brackish to marine.

They do look great and you've managed to get some really nice pictures of them. It's great to hear that from someone with firsthand experience too. I have read, mostly here, that others had the same experiences with them being in full marine so it makes sense to me to just start out as full marine. That and saving money in the long run, though it definitely isn't cheap getting started lol.

Indeed it is. But worth it. Most of my equipment I buy from people getting rid of it on Craigslist. Saved hundreds of dollars doing so.

It is. I tried Craigslist and even posted and ad stating I was setting up a saltwater tank and looking to buy supplies but no luck. Comes from living in a small town I guess lol.
