I was out a little bit ago, and my little brother thought my Dwarf Puffers were feeders for my Congo!! !! Are the Dwarfs poisonous, and are they gonna kill my Congo? I tried getting an answer from the Hospital, but no one replied, I need advice fast! Is there anything I can do?

Puffers should have some immunity to their own toxin.

I'm not an expert on this by any means and hopefully someone who knows more than i do comes along soon.

Monitor your congo closely. Hopefully he doesn't experience any negative effects.

Captive bred pufferfish are usually not poisonous because pufferfish get their ability to produce the toxin from the toxic shellfish they consume in the wild.

Is there anything at all I can put with my Congo? I kinda like him having his own tank all to himself, but could he go maybe with another Congo?

I had sucess keeping mine with a giant apple snail. Killed the pleco I had w/it.

I think you should restrict posts to one of your threads to keep things together. splitting between threads doesn't help anyone deal with the issue.
