Caught Freddy getting pinched by a crayfish again and this video shows what happens.
Step 1: swim upwards until the crayfish lets go by instinct and
Step 2: go for the claws to correct the error

Hard to tell the exact length. About 10 inches including the tail. He is still growing steadily.
He was about 2 inches when I got him in November (see the attached photo).

Big eyed baby by then uuh!
I never remove the claws of the shrimps or crayfish, it is good for hunter & prey to be involved in a serious feeding situation.
