Hi,

I am new to this site and have never owned a pufferfish before but am very interested in owning a porcupine. I am planning on doing lots of research first as I want to make sure I am capable of looking after the fish before I buy any.
Are porcupines quite hard to look after and are there any specific requirements I need to know about?
I have seen this tank and was wondering if it would be any good?

Also would this tank be the smallest I could go for with this type of fish?

I would really appreciate any help or advice you could give me

Thanks

Emma

Welcome to the site. :) I'm pretty new here myself, but from what I have noticed with my porcupine, they are fairly hardy fish and not too difficult. As far as tank size, I could not view the link. I have mine in a 180g (681 Litre 183 cm x 61 cm x 61 cm). They love to explore and don't seem to mind high flow areas. Hopefully the other will chime in soon.

Thanks for your reply. This one is a 400 litre so I'm not sure if that is too small
