Just a few pictures of my new puffer, which I believe to be a Tetraodon Sabahensis - correct me if I'm wrong! He/she doesn't have a name yet...

Actually, I thought its just a variant of GSP. A large one.

Nice pics, i´ve always believed that these kind of pictures are T. Sabahensis, i know we could say that this is gust a gsp with physical and color variations, but spott patern and body shape are very different from what we know as the traditional adult GSP.

I used to have the same thinking as RVS as well. This variant do look very much different from the more common type with the black rounder spots. But this forum keeps brainwashing me that giant spotted puffer had not been in the trade for as long as one remember.. And, this type has been mixed with the normal GSP very very often in my LFSs.

Another one where we have to wait for Corvus. I am interested to what he has to say about this.

I think he might be a little confused after his rescue still. He became much brighter and interactive when I fed him last night.

May I ask what salinity you're keeping yours in?

I've got him at 1.023

Almost looks like a cross between a gsp and a Ceylon lol

Could just be me, but I think they share a lot of similarities?

I do believe that is the puffer you have.

If that is a Saba, its pretty commonly found in Singapore.. Mixed in with batches of GSPs..

I do believe it is a saba scpion, indeed, I dont see why sabas should be as rare to find as congo puffer, but thats may personal thought...
