I have lost all my plants after prolonged treatment for Ich. I've ordered a huge amount of plants that will come lead wrapped for direct planting. This may be a daft question but is the lead wrap safe to use in aquariums and particularly in with my Fahaka?

Its best to remove the lead thing. So that the plants can grow properly. Ime, over time some white powdery thingy will build up on the lead. Not too sure what are those.. Calcium?..maybe... Best to remove them.

Agree with above - you must remove them.
