What is better for gsp
Marine sand or crushed coral

I prefer aragonite sand.

Cool that's what I'm using at the moment
But is so hard to keep clean
Try hoovering it and it sucks up all the sand
And if i use just hose It sucks to much water out
Forcing me to replace water to often
Any ideas on a good cleaner

Stir with your hand or a stick, let the dirt settle on top of the sand for a few minutes & then lightly skim over the surface with your siphon hose.

If your siphon is simple and passive, set the receiving bucket on a stool or chair. I used such in the days before the Python was invented. The higher the bucket, the slower the siphon works.

It you have a Python, the valve near the open end can be partially closed for the same effect, reducing the flow rate and thus the strength of the vacuum.
