I saw a huge dwarf puffer today. It was at least 1" big. All the other DPs in the tank was ~0.75inch big. I thought it was a red eyed species, but it actually did not have red eyes. Tail and belly was also yellow. The patterns on the back was also similar to a regular DP and I saw wrinkles behind the eyes, so it was a male.

Your DP was that big? In the first pic, there are some DP ~0.75inch big for comparison.

Its nice to see them at that stage of there life.

Most of DP's I see in my LFS are very small and dieing from IP's

When I look at mine he seems so little. Then I went to the lfs. Oh gosh the new DPs are tiny! My guys is 3x the size of their biggest one. Now I wonder how much bigger he might get...

when i had some the male was bigger then 1 inch.

I saw a tank of TINY babies at the LFS the other day. They were unbelievably small! I'd be terrified to clean their tank.

If I saw an adult DP over an inch, I'd scoop it right up!

Are you at Midway Tropical Fish and Pet's?? Do you live in Washington? I may have just seen that puffer, because I just went to Midway!

Yup that is Midway. He was gone when I visited midway yesterday.

We even went to Midway on the same day!

(I went at 1pm until 2:30pm)

I was there around 4:30 :p on that day.
I never stay for long. Maybe 5 minutes and then I leave. I only look at the puffers and saltwater livestock when I go to any LFS.
