RIP Hootie

Well...Hootie (my GSP) has died. I struggled with him since the first day that I bought him. He was shipped to the lps the day that I bought him...too much stress.

With the help of this website I have since learned the correct way to take care of a GSP and will attempt to obtain another one after I get my hydrometer, water testing kit and marine salt (instead of the aquarium salt that the lps told me to get) and am able to keep the tank stable for a period of time. Any suggestions on buying one, what to ask the lps.

I thank you all for your advise and help.

PS: I do not know how to attach a previous post, please advise.

Sorry for your loss...

Be sure to get a fat, healthy fish, w/o frayed fins, that greets you at the front of the tank. Ask them to feed it to see it eat, too.

I really wish people would research purchases before buying, as I'm sure you wish you had too; it's so sad to lose a fish you love.
