Never done puffers before always been a big cichlid guy, but I was at my lfs the other day and I saw some puffers and now I'm in love. I was wondering what would be the best species for a 55 gallon tank and what would be a good ratio. If there is some kind that is bigger but i could only keep one or two I wouldn't be apposed to that. Lets hear all of your opinions.

No but I have never done it what does it entail and would that give me an option of bigger puffers?

A single green spotted puffer would be in heaven in a 55g! They grow about the size of a Nerf football:

There is that picture I saw a long time ago! Beautiful GSP's! I hope mine will look like that in a couple years! They look almost 7 inches?

That would probably explain it.
