Irrubesco Puffer (Red Tailed Red Eyed)

Hi!
I'm from South East Kent, England. I have been trying to get hold of the irrubesco puffer. Any ideas where I could get one? I've rung round all my local stores with no luck, a store is trying to get them but nothing yet!
I have a 15 gallon tank. Two filters 15 gallon capacity each. Sand substrate. Lots and I mean lots of plastic plants, plus two small caves. Even with all the above is the tank suitable for just one of these little guys?
Thanks in advance

Yea should be fine for one if my memory serves me right. Make sure the tank is fully cycled before you add one. There's a place called wildwoods or windwords or something like that near you that gets loads of puffers in your general area. I don't think it's their season though. Welcome to the forum

Thank you for the fast reply! Ive googled Wildwoods, I can only find one in middlesex. Thats almost 2hrs from me, I'm right on the south coast. I would love taking a look at some point! I did find out though they have six in stock and can send them via the post through the internet site Tropical Fish Finder! So thank you sooo much bertie!

I may hang on a bit to see if the slight closer store can get them. Any ideas on price range for these guys? Through the post im looking at £32 for one with P&P!

it seems like it would be cheaper to drive there and you could also pick the best looking one... but then i dont know what gas prices are like over there.

Petrol is around £1.40 a litre, that's around $2 I think. The government tax it to the max greedy buggers lol

I thought our gas was bad at $1.30/L. In less than a month it's expected to rise to 1.50 and not go down. It's insane given the huge distances we have to drive.

Hey Guys!
Just a quick update, I rang wildwood today and spoke to them about the c.irrubesco. We got chatting and the guy was really helpful. We spoke in great length about the puffers explaining the difference in the males and females, and the fact he has seen no aggression between any of them. That reassured me that they are the C.Irrubesco. So I have decided to mail order two females and he has promised to send two females! Cant wait!!!! Will keep you updated! Thank you for all your help!
Ow forgot to say! They arrive tomorrow morning!
