SAP and Humpbacked Puffer

Hello I have four South American Puffers (Colomesus asellus) and would really like a Humpbacked Puffer (Tetraodon palembangensis), I have been told the humpbacked would need hard water, which the SAP’s would be ok with, but I would like to know if the Humpbacked Puffer would eat the SAPs?

Most probably.An active swimmer such as the SAP would be too much temptation for the palembang.
You could end up with two dead puffers.

Really bad idea. Palem. is much more aggressive & grows 4x the size of a SAP.

Repeat after me:
Puffers are best in species tanks.
Many species of puffers are best as singletons in captivity.
In any tank with more than one puffer, you must always be prepared to remove one or more of the fish to an alternate tank immediately.
To a puffer, an tankmate is one or more of the following: 1) competition 2) the enemy 3) an uncoperative mate 4) lunch 5) a buddy. Note: Number 5 is the least likely, number 4 the most likely.
