Hey guys, why don't you take a look to this?:
I made this draw a moments ago, because is so confusing to identify these puffers by picture search, i spent 1 hour searching for veridic images (not confused people) and decide to make a draw to specify and denote each puffer characteristics based on FishBase captured fish specimen & Aqualog pictures to define color.
What do you think?
Any mistake

or advice?

We'll let Corvus be the judge.

I don't know, I prefer the text keys and the original descriptions in combination with photographs. Drawings always add stuff by the artist that is later interpreted as traits for differentiation...
I don't want to downgrade your work, though. Some species of this genus are simply almost impossible to tell apart 100% from live, moving specimens. SO it's not the drawing that is bad, but nature have given a tough task.

I can't add anything for authenticity, but I like the drawings for themselves!

I also like them, anyway i suppose original text descriptions must be enough for every one, but you know, since is so difficult to tell apart, lots of people need a "visual" reference, and there is no much of that on the web ñ_ñ
Thanks!

I agree with everyone. Pics like these combined with photos and text would make telling subtle differences easier for me. I like things made as simple as possible for me lol

Agree... simpler is better

even so, with this draws i don't pretend to replace pictures or original texts, they were created as complement of it, like bertie said.
Anyway I'll made some changes, some stricter changes, in order to avoid adding some personal details, that is an important point (thanks corvus), This time I'm using illustrator...
