female irrubesco? ...i was too late. hoping for dps though.

i didnt have my camera with me to take a pic of the puffer in question(cell phone camera isnt nearly as good-just a black blob lol) is there a difference in colors or the mottled pattern to tell them apart? im still hoping its a female irrubesco... i think it might be because shes a darker brown than the palembang pics. can anyone help? ill try to go and get a picture of it soon.

oh, and the guy i was talking to about her said that the person who orders the fish usually gets the scientific names and common names correct... so evidently they think its a humpback (palembang) puffer. and he said they had like 20 of them when they got the puffers in and theyve all been sold except for this one... so i dont know.

Definitely not a humpback (M palembang). Probably one of the dwarf red eye (Carinotetraodon) species.

lol, true, but id think it would be bigger than that in a fish store... how can you tell that its an irrubesco? the pattern,color?

k enough about the pics =P you try taking a clear picture of a puffer that only stops for about a second. at least i got 2 decent ones
