lost my first puffer :(

I woke up this morning to find that my baby puffer died. My big puffer for some reason likes to sleep by the intake for my aqueon filter. guess my lil guy tried it too. I thought he was still sleep so i moved the filter a bit to scare him but he didnt move. RIP Squirt

he was super healthy and cute. about half inch of pure wildness. He was pretty much macho man. Not scared of anything and would bite anything that moved...aka my fingers. Looks like i need to get another baby one this weekend

That is a harsh lesson to learn. many many of us have had that happen. It is a learning lesson. Cover that intake!

the same thing happend to my DP
its so tragic..but the intakes really need to be covered.

Are you certain he didn't die of another cause and his body just such to the intake post mortem? Are your parameters ok?
