Carinotetraodon Travancoricus 5mm

Just to show you this new dwarfs that are recently of at least the first oficial importation to mexico.
They arrived the past december 19 and after a large quarantine process that are now in mexican water

Well, lets go to the point, da pics!
There are 35 baby Puffers in a 200 liters aquarium, they are alone, no other fish but a lot, really of plants (i own you that pic)



















They love to eat Neocaridina Heteropoda zoeas and a huge amount of planorbis corneus and/or physas snails.
Also feeding on Grindal worm and waiting for some brine shrimp and blood worm frozen food too
¿is this diet ok? ¿how about the space? there are a lot of java fern, rocks and plants and i haven´t seen any sign of aggression.

They are at 25º, 7ph, gh6, kh4.

by the way, this puffers do a lot of waste, I've never seen a puffer to "do their business" so mani times a per day.
is this normal?

I finally found some of these guys in a LFS selling for $2 the owner pointed their tank out to me and I spent several seconds looking for them and I was shocked to see how small they really were! I had always thought it was an empty aquarium. lol Cute little guys.

its even funnier when youre looking all over your own tank for them and theyre just at the glass staring at you XD

Seems difficult to manage all of them in one tank. I can't imagine doing a head count everyday.

With that many how do you know it is the same one?? LOL!!

Well I evacuated one of my small tanks and went back to that LFS and got some Dwarf Puffers. (they referred to them as pea puffers) I am officially a multi species puffer keeper now.

all dp aren't the same JP they have different spots patterns, even when i haven´t identify all of them, i recognize some of the big waste dealers lol

i´m gonna make a video specially for you ñ_ñ after i re-home the group, i already start to separate them into 15 gal tanks (3 puffs per tank) there are only 20 in the big one...
