no, its petrified, its pretty much a rock, but its not like actual live rock, which is porous and shaped by thousands of years of erosion via current and all that jazz to create an optimal environment for bacteria, algae and all kinds of other creatures to inhabit it. ya know? I'm mad drunk right now. Your live rock is fine, its all cultured and ready to seed the rest of your tank, just because it isn't the best possible origin of live rock in the world doesn't make it bad for your tank. You're fine.
