When someone has a bad reaction to bloodworms, skin scaling, redness iciness, and burning.. what home remedies / products do you use?

I used a steroid cream (probably Cortdome cream, I don't remember the strength, but it was one of the stronger formulations - prescription back then) to control it the first few times it happened. Then discontinued the use of bloodworms when I confirmed that was the direct cause of the redness/burning.

Any contact allergy is potentially serious. Avoidance of contact is the safest long-term. It has been some years now since I have used any for the tanks, and I never will again. That is an easily avoidable antigen.

I agree... I was thinking about cortisone. Thank you!
