Hey Everyone Newbie PeaPuff
Posted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 2:31 am
Hi signed up because I've now added pea puffers to my list of fish that I already keep. Upon researching for days now thought to sign up here just to air caution to the safe side...I've been keeping for most part community fish for the last year and a half...the peas are in my hospital tank while I set up a 15 gal for the perm. home. I have a question and not too sure where to post it. The tank which I will be cycling, at once long ago had a clown fish in it which was treated for ick with copper. Is there any amount meaning minute amount that pea's can tolerate of copper? I am in the process of letting the tank settle with water in it and will test the levels of copper if any in three days and then can report back my findings. Glad I found this site because I'm sure I have lots to learn keeping peas and what better place than a species specific forum.
Please feel free to move my question to a suitable section as I have not learned how to use this site...give me a few days I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Wishing all the members here a very Happy New Year!!
