Has anyone ever traveled on a air plane with their puffer? is it possible?

just toss him into a crate and you should be good to go. you probably want to put a little water in the white plastic dish attached to the bars though, they tend to get pretty thirsty.

That wasn't particularly helpful. They are flown halfway round the world before they get to us. A large breather bag lots of water and air. Possibly a heat pack in an insulated box. Have the setup ready the other end for quick introduction and you should be fine.

only a little water... 1/4 water 3/4 air.

the pH in the bag will drop very quickly so there shouldn't be an ammonia issue. The O2 is the main problem. Or you could tranq it

I meant use the largest possible bag for more water volume lol. Just re read my first post, and should have been more specific

If you are traveling with the fish you can claim it as carryon and keep it with you. You will have to have it checked but if it is claimed as valuable live pet you should be able to take it with you. Styrofoam box, a large breather bag and air. 1/3 water, 2/3 air and low heat. Water needs to stay a touch cooler to slow down metabolism.
