So after saving for a while i finally had the funds to get all my live rock, powerheads and other random things to finish out my 30g tank. Smudge is still a bit sour about the change, again, but this time is pretty permanent and for the best. Here are some pictures. Lemme know what you guys think! The water is still a bit cloudy from the sand. I like the LR formation. Just waiting to find my first hitchhiker!

Thanks! I'm stoked that i finally finished my tank! I was so eager to get home from work just to watch it. I'm waiting for it to clear completely up. It'll probably be fine tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait to see what all types of little critters i have, or possible corals!

I was dissapointed cause my LR had been sitting so long at the LFS it had no hitchhikers. The corals I got from a friend did give me 3 starfish though

The guy i bought them from asked if i wanted lrg, med or small. I said medium. lol. He did say i could trade them for other rock though, if i didn't like any of them.

And a much better picture of the clam/muscle. It started moving and has opened up completely with a worm-like thing sticking out. Any ID on this little fellow?

I moved some of my rock around a bit. There was 1 piece in the tank that just bothered me the way it was sitting. I also moved the powerhead up a bit for more surface movement. I'm hoping to trade one or both of my powerheads for koralia nano 445s (i think that's the flow on them). Anyways, here's some new pictures for you all to enjoy. =D

Thanks! Sometimes i have to look to see if the surface is moving since the water is so clear. lol

Sadly i haven't seen any hitchhikers yet but the tank is only 2 weeks old so far. I'm thinking of picking up some more liverock this payday to fill out that right side of the tank more.

a good time to look for hitch hickers you might not see during the day, is to wait a while after the lights are out and its dark around the tank, and pull out a flashlight to take a look around. might see some things sticking out of the rock you didnt before. i had a feather duster hitch hiker, it was pretty funny to see it play hide and go seek with my GSP. he was very curious about that thing

I just wired 2 extra lights into my existing hood. It makes the tank look so much better. Colors are popping more.
