which 1 should i buy i have had both in the past and cant decide

the games actually decide on the console. Not the other way around.

I got ps3 and my brother has xbox, we fight all the time which one is better.

ps3 has free online where on xbox you got to pay.

I would go with ps3.

i love gears of war, so Xbox is the best for me ñ_ñ

paying fr xbox live is the only reason i dont like it

ps3 i have both actually. but i was originally a playstation(1 and 2) owner, never had xbox before this and i just got it a few weeks ago. i still highly prefer my ps3. though both definitely have their goods and bads. now a days it depends what games you like and if they are exclusive to a certain console. if you are a big fan of halo(not me lol) or gears of war(i like this and have it) because of playing it at a friends house, you may prefer xbox because you already know you will like 1 exclusive game

to me, ps3 is where its at though lol you can do stuff like this that you cant do on an xbox:

main reason you pay for xbox is for the cross gaming chat. you have a party mode where you can chat with any of your friends or whoever is in your party while you play different games. kind of a distraction to me, but really cool when your playing the same game together and you use it as your own private chat room to team up against enemies
