Moved my dwarf puffers into their new home today, and they seem pleased with the upgrade.



Still have to remove the internal filter, mover the heater and possibly put on a background.

You didn't move the heater before moving the puffers?

I knew i was going to be doing some re-arranging with taking out the external filter and installing the C02 so I did it after. An updated pic coming soon.

I've still got to decide on that, I've got black and also a gradient of dark to light blue. Will experiment this weekend.

Blue Gradient papers are also cool, you can also try a brown one, that will fuse with your gravel and give some nice dawn appearance...

I've got a problem. Only after a few days of posting the picture the two brushy plants in the back have shot up almost to the top of the water. I guess my CO2 and fertilizer are responsible, but as they've gotten longer the leaves look sparce and not nearly as attractive as in the picture above.

Certain plants will space ot like that under high light, see if there is a way you can dim/diffuse the lights over those plants.

Those 2 "brushy" plants are limnophila sessiliflora & cabomba caroliniana.
if the plant don't grow or stays dense, you have good light.
if the plant gows vey tall and the leaves are separated, they need more light to grow dense...
¿what lights are you using? how many lumen or watt?

I've got Powerglo and Aquaglo (20 watts I think) on the Fluval Roma 125. But have changed them to new ones yesterday as I suspect the others were old, which might have been the reason.

How big is your tank? also how tall is it... Powerglo and Aquaglo are quite good lighting... those plants need from 40 to 50 lumen per liter to grow dense.
Im not sure about the exact reason..
