Is it ok to feed 1" F8s every 2-3 days?

Every other day is good.

Also, be sure to give them a very varied diet. Snails, bloodworms, shrimp, earthworms, clams, tilapia, so on. Also, you should soak their food in some vitamins like Vitachem or Zoe

So far I've given them blood worms and shrimp witch I soak in vitachem for a couple of hours. I prepare all the food for my other fish by soaking in vitachem and then freeze them. For 1" f8s what else is good for them besides shrimp to help trim their "beak"?

Try just feeding them the shrimp tails, with the shell on. Small mussels are good & also plankton.

Sorry to jack the thread, but with a Fig 8 in Brackish, do you use the FW or SW vitamins?

I have Boyd's vitachem that I use in my fw tank so I use the same for my f8s.

Snails! My juvenile F8's diet is primarily ramshorns.
