With the amount of cockles they collect in Morecambe Bay etc , You'd think it would be pretty easy to purchase Frozen cockles (or fresh for that matter ) , in LFS , fish mongers etc . But I always seem to trouble sourcing them , One my LFS gets them in , but they soon run out ! ....They get the BCUK ones which are ok , their pretty decent size although you do seem to get a few in the bag which are closed but when you prise them open they are either empty or contain dirty black sand ! . Does anyone know of any shops that stock them and offer a postal service ?? ....Im paying £5 a bag for the BCUK 500g .
haha typical just as im writing this my friend has text to say they've got some in stock !!!

I've looked at the seafood section at the supermarkets here, but its all too big, at least for my GSP :o. If I had a fahaka or mbu I would be set though .

I fed all my puffers from fry to the big fahaka on frozen sea food from Tesco's or Asda. Just cut it to size before thawing.
