are they trying to eat their own fin? mine sometimes act like this too, but it stop when i poke the tank

My guess was somewhere between those or a malformed gsp, I couldnt quite tell on the video, poor angles.

looks like one of its pectoral fins is clamped to its side , most likely from bein attacked by one of his fellow buddys , and the curling up of the tail is what puffers do when they feel threatened ....

the white marks are most likely scrapes from being attacked .....i would say that puffer needs to be put in another tank asap .....probably die of stress more than anything

myukoo how come no gravel or decor in your tank? Would make your GSP's feel much more at easy if there was.

Opps put this is the wrong spot. From the video of the OP in the other thread they started their tank also has no gravel or decor.

Well... that is not a deformed puffer, they do that often... when they want to rest after feeding:
Puffernand always go to his cave and sleep like this:
i guess that poor guy has no where to hide and rest....
Sevenyearnight has an avatar where his gsp is in that "mode" too
Thad mode is also related to Constipation.
