Need coral identification

Hey! been awhile since i have been on here been very busy. well ne ways i have recently purchased some quality live rock from a friend and it had what I believe a mushroom on it but i cant seem to find one that looks like it can ne body help me ID this guy. sorry pic is best i could do with my phone

Is it soft? Does it have a skeleton? A clearer pic would help.

it is soft no skeleton just almost like a growth on the rock no base or ne thing i asked my friend and he said he didnt even notice it before he gave it to me so he didnt know...i tried to get a better pic but dont have my digital camera maybe i will grab my parents one tom

Is it encrusting or is that a skeleton I am seeing? Without a better picture it's hard to tell.

what do you mean encrusting?? dont know much about corals but i dont think it is a skeleton cus it is soft

That's a tough one. About how big would you say it is?
