F8 eating my plants

I had to buy new plants because I keep finding holes on the leaves.
Is he bored or hungry?

I'm afraid like in most cases you may be out of luck with keeping live plants. It is just natural for them to do this.

Yup espesh if they see a snail or what looks like a snail. Or sometimes for fun

Are you sure it's the F8? Could it be a defficiency due to lack of ferts?. I've had no problems with mine eating plants

As soon as I replaced the plants within 1 hour they got holes in them.

U happen to be using java ferns? They have some kind of pods below the leaves and mine loves to chew on that..

It's very common, when F8's (and others puffers) hunt for food they end up biting the leaves of plants as well. My F8s do that too. Get used to have leaves with holes. =)
