Its roughly 4.5-5", unfortunately its in a 30L right now. I will be getting a larger tank this weekend. While I know the 30L is way too small, I have 2 hob and a 2217 on it plus weekly 75% water changes. I have a buddy selling me a 110g for $50, so he'll be in that for the meantime.

awesome! as much as its nice to put them in their full grown tank right away its obviously not an option for everyone all the time. i started my 2 gsp's in a 20 gallon, there now in a 40g and when i can afford something bigger they will get it. its more than enough room for the time being.
