Hey
I got a pair of these guys today, and wondered if they ever needed their teeth trimming? The teeth on these fellas look a bit long, so I might do the old dentistry trick a bit later (picked up some clove oil today). Anyone else needed to perform dentistry on irrubesco before?
I'll take some pictures of the process (if I need to trim them that is) and if you'd like you could add them to the dentistry thread here if you wanted?
They're lovely

Never mind, I got too scared to do photos or anything. They're swimming in the clear bucket now, I hope they're ok.
What the article doesnt mention, is the need for a steady hand.

I dunno, I'm trying to get my puffers to be as teetotal as possible as the last one got drunk and trashed his tank.
But yeah, something to calm the nerves is a good idea.

Who would have thought puffers to be mean drunks
-thought they would hover in a wavering line, and pass out on the door step of their cave

I have two F8s overdue for a trim. One broke his bottom dental plate off so now his top plate overgrows. The second one just has spurts of upper plate growth. It doesn't matter how many snails I give him, he eventually needs a 12–18mth trim. Maybe I'll try a swig of Clove Oil before their next trim. It seems to calm the Puffs after all… might work for me.
